[Pre-Historic DickWORM] is an electronic music project, mostly inspired by 90's alternative & industrial, formed by Dr. Spooge and de Sade as a creative outlet for their disgusting imaginations, sense of humour, and paraphilias. The two have collaborated on various musical projects since 2006 and have once again come together to make noise. They were later joined by Mr. Luscious who assists the project in making music videos. In December 2021, the first single: "Get VaXXXed!" was released, followed shortly by a Music Video.

04/13/2024 - Slithering to a VCR near you...
Actually, just some of you, and by "some of you", I mean a couple of people who had direct involvement with the PHDW album.
I've been on a VHS kick (instigated by Dr. Spooge who recently used an old VHS camcorder for artwork on his latest EP), and decided to work on a little DIY project involving this obsolete technology. The Pre-Historic DickWORM album deserved a physical release so I chose VHS as the most sensible format. For this project, I had to gather a few supplies.
First and foremost, I needed a VCR and some blank tapes, which I had recently purchased from eBay and Amazon respectively.
Secondly, I needed a way to record shit from my laptop to my VCR, so I purchased a mini HDMI2AV converter.
The third thing I needed was packaging materials so I ordered some black plastic VHS cases from eBay and then bought some card stock paper for the cover inserts and adhesive paper for the tape face labels at Walmart.
Lastly, I didn't want to use boring old black tapes, so I ordered a pack of empty, purple shells which I transferred the actual film to once I finished recording the video.
After all that, here's what I got - and I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out.
